Client Reviews

Thank you so much Brendan for this extension you made for us in time and in budget. I've been most impressed with your attention to detail, your good communication, your ability to adapt the construction with our comments. The way you manage your suppliers, so everything is perfectly orchestrated. Brendan stayed until everything was perfectly finished. I would recommend Brendan Moloney to anyone looking for a builder.

I can't speak highly enough of Brendan and all of the guys who have been building our two-storey extension over the last six months. Having a small army in your home could have been a nightmare but they were all very respectful, helpful and trustworthy. In terms of the job itself, Brendan has been truly fantastic — communicating with us at all hours, offering advice and guidance and being honest and trustworthy throughout. The project completed on time and there have been no unpleasant surprises at all. I would happily recommend Moloney Contractors without reservation.

Brendan was fantastic to work with. Always professional and accommodating to our ever changing requests! Building works never imposed on the rest of the house and tidied away at the end of every day. We would highly recommend Brendan and if we ever need more building works we know who to contact!

Brendan project managed our large and rather complex kitchen extension in our old Victorian school house. From start to finish he was excellent with a great eye for detail. He was professional, 100% reliable and we always felt he was acting with our best interests at heart in terms of quality and costs. We would hire him again at the drop of a hat!

We hired Brendan to build us a large second-storey extension above the garage and kitchen and have been extremely pleased with his and his team's bricklaying and carpentry experience. There was careful attention to detail and good workmanship which has left us with a beautiful extension seamlessly married to the old build. He kept us fully informed, gave exact time-frames and stuck to them. Brendan's quote was competitive and he managed to complete the project within the set budget. I also asked Brendan to do a complete overhaul and installation of a new staircase. Thanks to his brilliant carpentry skills, he did a brilliant job — done and dusted in two days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brendan on any construction project.

The works started on schedule and were completed within the time frame suggested. Any additional costs were due to me extending the brief. I am really happy with what Brendan and his team have created and I would definitely use him again.

Fantastic job. New kitchen and bathroom initially and a multitude of other jobs which we found and Brendan completed happily. All work was to an excellent standard. Very clean and tidy. We really cannot recommend highly enough.

Brendan managed a major internal demolition and re-construction of a period property as planned. Great workmanship, and his professionalism and reliability were also very good.

Brendan was excellent — good timekeeping, polite, kept us up to date, good communication. He was so good we used him for further work — he put some external doors in for us and he's going to fit our kitchen. I have recommended him to my mum and I would definitely recommend him to others.

High quality, completed very quickly.

Brendan is an outstanding carpenter. He is reliable with good communication and affordable rates.

Moloney Contractors completed a large two-storey extension for us. They were highly professional, paid excellent attention to detail, and communicated openly and clearly throughout. We're delighted with the result and would happily recommend them.

Brendan was our builder for a recent extension to our property. We were very pleased with all aspects of the work undertaken. Good standard of construction and the workforce were friendly and respectful of our home. Brendan was on hand to deal with any problems or changes necessary, as they arose. We have no hesitation in recommending his professionalism and kindness, ensuring we were inconvenienced as little as possible.

Brendan was our builder and project manager for a large extension to our Victorian School House. From start to finish he was absolutely fantastic: calm, professional, efficient and his work was of an excellent standard with good attention to detail. He is very approachable and friendly and the whole project felt collaborative. Most importantly, he factored in that we live in an area known for building subsidence and his original quote for labour was spot on several months later. We were very impressed, and would definitely recommend Brendan and his team.

Moloney Contractors carried out a side extension and garage reconfiguration, laid patio, built steps and rebuilt a low retaining wall. Brendan very ably managed the work and teams of trades with calm assurance and effectiveness, and he communicated clearly. We were given a clear fixed price contract and programmed works schedule. I am more than happy with the results and the works carried out.

Brendan was a pleasure to deal with right from the detailed quote with clear stages and timescales through to completion on time. We are very pleased with the standard of workmanship. Any problems, which you always get with old buildings, were quickly sorted out without any fuss. Definitely recommended.

We have used Brendan from Moloney Contractors for a couple of big jobs now. I chose Brendan initially for his attention to detail — he was the only one who spotted important details during the quotation process. During the construction, Brendan maintained a dialogue with us, and we managed to get through all the little hurdles of the project. He is not the cheapest, but he is worth the money.
